So, this isn't 100% about the piggies. I was gonna get some more detergent for the goblins, I've been using Persil's non bio and it's great, but at the same time it disappears quickly. I'd ordered a bottle of Ecover's Zero non bio because I could substitute it for myself if needed - my skin's much more picky about these things than it used to be. It likes Ecover, it gets Ecover.

Then Tesco had to substitute it out and they're sending a 1.5l bottle of the lavender and sandalwood instead.

That's the stuff I use, but I can't really use it for the goblins, can I? And I'm torn about keeping it or returning it because I can use it and it'd not go to waste but also I have plenty of it in the cupboard right now. Maybe I need to switch what I use, but I don't want to set my skin off again, ever. Thankfully there's still Persil in the cupboard, I'm just forever paranoid about running out. Gotta keep a bottle spare at all times right? :bal:
 
i think they say not to use scented stuff for the 'goblins'..... if you have plenty then can't you reject it and use the money on something else? i know its a pain....
 
I could and if they had sent literally everything else I probably would, but I'm torn because this is what I use. I'll probably send it back anyway, why couldn't they have subbed for the zero powder instead, lol. I might try an Asda order at the start of next week but unscented non-bio seems much harder to get hold of than it used to be.
 
I used to use Persil non-bio and Ecover - now I just use Ecover zero as I can buy a huge 15l box and that does us all. I wouldn't use anything with a fragrance- I can't for myself either anyway but for piglings def not- it makes me gag whatever it is I'm so sensitive so goodness knows how it would make them feel. Shame old Tesco did that, I'd switch off substitutions as I never got one that I thought, "oh nice, thanks" it's usually, 🤬🤬🤬 I really didn't want that!
 
I mean they also subbed out my small bags of coriander for a large bag, most of the time subs are decent, and when they aren't they're usually the hilarious kind. I can't use any powder at all, doesn't matter the brand or the scent same goes for the compressed tablets if you can even still get those? The pods/liquitabs are a pain too, it's been years since I've seen one that didn't have fabric softener added because again, Ecover's the only softener that doesn't irritate the skin.

I ended up with the lavender and sandalwood one when they were out of what I normally got, and I hate lavender. Love the scent though because to my nose it's mostly sandalwood, lol. Lavender, linen/cotton and lemon are my least favourite fragrances though. Lemon's just awful. "Oh it makes it smell fresh and clean!" No, it makes me want to boke. Every time.

That is so Northern Irish - boke😆🤣don't hear that very often. My ma is from that part of the world......
