If this is classified as a story/poem type thing,

I just got so happy when holding Cinnamon, shes the one thing that makes my day.

Your first guinea pig is your love,
He/She will be the one to love you,
The one who will never hold a grudge,

You give her/him special salads,
Lots of cuddles and kisses,
And even play her/him your favourite ballad,

You love all your other guinea pigs,
But he/she will always hold a place in your heart,
Not like any other pig has before.

She/he was the one who made you fall in love with guinea pigs,
She/he will never be your last,
She/he brightens your day when its at its gloomiest,
Even if he/she has passed away, She/he still loves you as much as you love her/him.

Dedicated to Cinnamon my first and not my last guinea pig,
And all the other people who just love their FIRST EVER Guinea Pig.
 
I'm in tears reading that. It's lovely. Although I got snowball and basil 2 weeks apart snowball will always be my special boy who started my love affair with piggys x
 
Love it, we only got Gertie at the beginning of the year and now have 9!!
 
Gilbert's my first... won't be having more until I've got my own place, but he will definitely not be my last pig. Have to agree that the first pig really is something special. x) xxxxxx I LOVE YOU GILBERT! p.s. you are such a cutie! :))
