Earlier this day i lost my Ziri. She's one of my first pets ever and it hurts so bad. I watched her being put down to sleep at the vet and it was the worst thing i'd ever have to watch :( The worst part was when she was asleep :( i hugged, kissed and told her how much i loved her <3
she was very old.. almost seven years. She had belly issues. i guess it was her time but i feel like i just let her die :( That i gave up on her!
So now I'm crying really bad :(( It feels ridiculous but i cant help it :( And I'm so worried for her sister, that she'll go depressed. They'd always been together, never torn apart. Until now, seven years later.:0

anyway.. this is just me putting my greif on the internet :(..

Rest in peace sweetie. I'll always miss you baby <3

I'm so sorry. Please don't blame yourself. Ziri must have been much loved and extremely well looked after to have lived so long, and so happily. I'm sure that she knew how much you loved her.
Please don't feel ridiculous about your grief. I'm sure all of us on here know and understand exactly how you feel.

RIP sweet Ziri, another piggy angel in heaven tonight.

sorry for your loss its always hard to let them go I have not lost a piggie yet but have my dog of 18 years broke my heart to see her put to sleep I did the same thing you said hugged her until she went cold oh look you have got me crying now lol We always ask ourselfs the same question did we do the right thing, is they something we could have done for them and is it what they wanted. All I know is that they are not in pain anymore and that has to count for something love to you all and RIP Ziri xx

I'm so sorry for your loss.
RIP precious Ziri. Run free x

BIG HUG

I am so sorry that you had to let Ziri go! It is always so gutting, and it never gets any easier. It is hard to stay with your piggy and it takes courage. You were with her all the way and she could go carried by the wings of your love. That is the one last bg gift you could give her.

Your reaction to all that is completely normal. I have yet to meet a loving, responsible pet owner who has not felt like they had somehow betrayed their loved one - me included! It takes time for your heart to catch up with your head. Your grief is the other side of your love and it is the price we have to pay for having had somebody in our life who has made it so much richer.

RIP Ziri
