Hi,

Sorry if this post is in the wrong place.

I felt guilty today as I wanted to give the boys some grass time, but the problem is I've got 3 piggies who don't get on and only 2 runs - today Spike was going nuts at the bars of his hutch as he could see the other 2 on the grass. I tried to explain to him (like he'd understand!), but I could see he was itching to get out.

So, I've been looking at runs and have found this one at Zooplus which seems a good price and a lot cheaper than others:

I was just wondering if anyone else on the forum has this run. If so, what do you think of it? Any feedback would be appreciated as its always difficult to see what things are really like online.

It looks ideal, and the other 2 runs would fit snuggly to it so they could all socialise together without the risk of them fighting.

Thanks x

It looks good as long as you supervise them in case of cats or anything :)

Personally I would try to find one with a mesh top as a net will not stop a cat and small animals are very tempting for them. You also be surprised how common birds of prey are.

I cannot leave mine unsupervised even in a heavy run due to foxes.

Have a look at eBay as you can get some bargains there.

i got a fifty p shaped one and it has a net that clips over the top to stop unwantd prediters. i leave it up all the time so the grass grows really long . at first in the summer i had to keep moving it around when the little lawnmowers were out. but when got colder and they came inside it was left in one place and grass has grown

I would say if it is only to be used in the garden then go with one with a secure top rather that the net.

I have two of these joined together http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Options-Delux...all_Animals&hash=item20b3bd94cb#ht_1180wt_754 I had this out in the garden and I used washing pegs to secure it more but i was in the house all day and kept a close eye on them, i would never leave them in it.

I mainly use this run indoors and it's good for blocking off the TV cabinet so they don't go near the wires! rolleyes
