Anyone know where to buy it and how much does it cost?

Thanks!

I may / maynot buy some to compare.

I am definitely getting made to measure inco pad / zorb / fleece sheets to make my life easier and my mum when she piggy sits.

I want to make some for the ramps too so want to cut it up - hence thinking zorb will be better. Plus I like to try everything so if I can afford to get a bit I will...

Thanks for the link!

Hello Lisa,

This is not yet definite, but I have been thinking for a while of putting in a bulk order for some Zorb. I will ask other people on the forum how much shipping is before I do so, but if you only wanted a small amount to compare I might be able to sell some on.

I am thinking of making cage liners and adding them to my products if you are interested and can wait a few weeks.

Pollie.

I would be interested in buying some maybe if you can work out prices per m or something

I'm really interested in zorb too... How thick is it and what's it like to sew, anyone knows?

I wonder if two layers is enough for the cage?

I think gpiew has ordered some and I will pm her to ask what it is like. Thanks for the expressions of interest, everyone. I will cost a 50 yard bulk buy and see whether it is feasible. I will have to add on a margin for the rescues, of course, but I expect it will be cheaper than buying a small amount and having it shipped from the States as one or two yards.

I am also thinking of buying a pack of ten inco pads and making custom fleece-covered cage pads if anyone is interested. They would be 95cm by 95cm. I have yet to cost them fully, but they would be selling them for about £22-25 (with patterened fleece sewn on) including postage.

I am planning to upgrade my website to one where you can display 30 products so that I can increase the range of things I am making.

I would want about 3 yards here.

Do you make tunnels?

Yes, Lisa, I do. I have just one pictured on my website: www.cavycozies.webs.com, but I have recently made a new prototype which has a 'stuffed crust' to help it stay open more easily. Tunnels are £6 and £5 for each extra one ordered.

"At first feel, this fabric is different. It is thick and more rigid than the other materials I am used to sewing with. It almost feels like a cross between batting and sew-in interfacing. Did I mention it is thick? It measures 3/16th of an inch thick - or almost 4 mm."

I found this googling Zorb... I have planned a new cage which will have the same width as the zorb, to be able to use the material more economically. I wonder if I could fit a double layer zorb cage liner into the washing machine if it also had fleece? Two layers of zorb and two layers of fleece would be more than a cm thick...

I'm trying to do my thinking before my buying this time...
