    The big rescue mission

...happened something like this but not as bad. Just managed to go at the back of tv stand or one of the shelves we had. After that, I had to put c&c barrier through those gaps, especially as my piggies are free roaming. Thankfully that was a one time incident and never happened again, and we...

C&C cages, fleece liners, and accessories

Welcome to the forum. I have a 6x2 C&C cage which is the biggest I can fit into my space here. I have a boar & sow pair. They create their zoomie runs by moving any inconvenient furniture or just running through everything. I have fleece as the base liner and bath mats on top. A good wash bag...

    Truffle and Polo

...is the same as the 300ml bottle, so it doesn't help to increase hydration. When I was using the giant 1L bottles, I thought I saw my piggies drinking more often, but the giant bottles were almost too heavy for the C&C grids and they leaked alot. My piggies cast scorn on water bowls unfortunately.

    Moving c&c's

I'm getting new windows and might have to move my cages out of the room. Do c&c cages fall apart if you move them? They seem kinda flimsy, especially my kavee. Any tips on keeping them in tact?

    Support for a songmics cage

I have stacked c&c cages and just cable tied everything after building them. They have held up really well and I’ve not had any problems.

    Guinea Pig Pellets

To add to this, Cavy Capers Rescue (the one you previously contacted about a companion for Tango) have tons of free C&C grids available at the rescue that I’m sure they’d be happy to part with (they told me this earlier this year when I adopted Aperol from them!).

It’s getting hot! Are you ready? 🥵

Got to 38°C in the pig shed today and 29°C in the downstairs bathroom where I decided to put the pigs (coolest room in the house). They've not been their usual wheeking popcorning selves but I can't blame them. They've had a fan going and been grazing on veggies and freshly cut grass that I've...

A C&C cage cannot be made fox proof though, foxes could bite through cable ties, squeeze through gaps between the grids and dig under the sides.

It’s getting hot! Are you ready? 🥵

Unfortunately, our lounge is too large for it to be effective but I don't blame you. Get an air mattress so you can camp in the room if needed as well. Once you get night temperatures around 20 C or even 25 C, it is no longer fun. They already have those nights in Switzerland. :(
