13 weeks c&c grids?

I've had 12-16 week piggies that haven't been a problem but I would say it depends on the size of the individual piggy and in particular it's head. Some tiny babies can walk through the grids!

I don’t know if she’s tiny for her age or not because I’ve never had one so young. She looks teeny to me! She’s so cute :)

They do don't they. Picking a little one up is such a shock too after years of picking large adult boars up, so delicate and squirmy.

You wouldn’t even have known she was in the carrier it was so light! She’s in the bonding pen with Perry our senior boar at the moment and I just had a panic about the grids!

The pen doesn’t have correx but the cage does so maybe the cage would be safer and I should move them there sooner?

I’ve baby proofed my grids in the past with cardboard strips to stop them poking their heads through

Does anyone have a picture of how to baby proof? Really annoying I’ve overlooked this!
I don’t think I took photos. Cut strips of cardboard about 3 - 4 inches deep and then poke a hole through and either use string or cable ties to secure periodically to the grids. If it’s up against a wall that side should be safe anyway.

Managed to make the bonding pen safe for tonight then I’ll fully clean the cage tomorrow and move them over.

So pleased with how the bonding has gone.

Can’t decide on a name so open to suggestions :)
