Will you give her a call this evening and just make sure that she isn't saving them for you, if she isn't then I will take them and then get them to Pampered Piggies and maybe Loopylou will be able to help plus the lady in Tunbridge Wells as well.

I can pick them up tomorrow night after 8pm.

STOP she is saving them for me and i am going to pick them up tommorrow i am so sorry,, i also have some bad news she has put the boys in with the girls
 
It's all thanks to Piggybaker and spotting them in freeads and for putting them on this forum - just hope they are still available as it looks like there are a few local people to who may be able to help out :-)
 
Its good news she has saved them for you...phew! Bad news about the boys and girls together but I wouldnt have expected anything else from someone like that >:(

Thank goodness they are being saved for you them. At least now you guys will all be able to sort out who has who, so they will be getting good homes & cared for properly. :)

It is really bad news that the girls & boys are in together which makes it even more good that they are going to you guys who will be able to give them the correct care they need if pregnant.

this is going to be a real battle for me its will be a bad battle of heart or head for me , i just hope i do not melt when i see them :-\

I dont know if this will help, but Ive got a spare hutch and could take 2 same sex, until they get forever homes?

I've got a warm fuzzy feeling reading this (and no I'm not having lap time) at how you've all pulled together to help those little piggies! I wish I could offer a place for some but alas I have none - but I hope, and I'm sure now, they'll find a good home. You guys rock. O0

I will be at london champs saturday and sunday so if any one is coming they can bring them there and ill take what ever is left and in need.
The girls are not a problem i can take all of them but if anyone can take a boy or two that would help as i have 14 boys already- of course i will make room for them if i need to

anythings better than them going to snake homes. Well done for getting them. O0

I totaly understand what piggybaker has done i'm not accusing you of anything and good on you piggiebaker for telling everyone on the forum about the poor little piggies O0

Eited to add . . I have a couple of empty cages so would be able to take a poss pregnant female if that helps.
 
We are in Chatham and may be able to TEMPORARILY house 2 seperate boys as we have 2 1M cages spare, but it would have to be temporary! Why the hell would she mix the boys and girls, stupid, stupid woman!
 
As Julie doens't drive let me also add that I am available for any transport that may be needed. Surrey's only an hour away from us , and rainham is about 20 minutes away. I could also help with a piggie run if necessary on Saturday :)
 
:tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: The more i think about this stupid woman the more grrrr I'm getting- is she just totally stupid, whats the betting she will be advertising her bunnys next cos they dont breed or she cant find homes.

WHY WHY WHY do they get away with it.
I went to the post office just after lunch got back to find a box with 2baby wild rabbits in no note, no explanation, ive taken them to another lady who runs a low key wildlife rescue, i couldnt risk putting them in the isolation ward with domestic animals in.. especailly as myxi is about here.

But even a phone number or a little info like where they were found would be useful. >:( PEOPLE!
 
awww the poor little rabbits.. and they call us the higher species..i wouldnt even put these kind of ppl above fleas, :tickedoff:
 
That's just sick! My idea is to educate. I want to get into schools to teach basic animal care. I can start in my daughters school. I'd love to have a rescue for Guineas but do worry that it will be all work and people abusing it. I just can't stand people like that they are the worst possible scum in my opinion!
 
If you want to educate and not been to schools etc before call your local brownie groups. (great practice)

I'm a brown owl ;) yes its true.. and i take my pigs and buns around and do talks with them, i also do a quiz at the end as it helps you to see what they are picking up on. If everyone gets a question wrond i know ive not explained myself properly.

With local packs i take a hutch and show them how to clean it, get them involved and put a few bits of poo in the hutch for entertainment !

Veg too is good to take see if they can guess which ones are safe and which are not, have a two bits of paper one saying..
'yummy for my tummy' and with 'ickey in my belly' and they can put the veg on the paper they think is the right one. aided learning and all that!

Now i sound like a right saddo! I do have a life out side of pigs (just dont go there often!) ::)
