There's never any hay left over with my pigs!![]()
Used to the situation - but I changed to Burgess Excel (timothy hay with dandelion and marigold) and they seemed to waste most of it. Just checked it earlier and it looks like they'd used it as a toilet. So have just changed them to Timothy Hay by Alfalfa King and they dived straight it.There's never any hay left over with my pigs!![]()
Mine eat simple meadow hay and they love it. Its fresh, green and smells lovely. I believe that buying them the expensive stuff only makes them fussy eaters!
i have another question about hay, have just been on amazon, and they have lifelong timothy hay meadow munch 500g x 5 for £13. 45 is that a good hay at a good price? we also give excel herbage with marigold.
My lot won't eat the posh stuff rolleyes I've spent £££'s on finding a good hay that they all like and for the past couple of months have used Zooplus Meadow Hay. Guaranteed 3 day delivery, lovely stalky green stuff which smells gorgeous

So we don't have to feed them Timothy Hay?
Do you have a Just For Pets near you? I'm pretty sure thats the same size bag I get from there but it costs £3.99! Its a massive bag, I go to Northampton to get it and it lasts my 2 pigs ages.
Wow, that's a great price but after months of searching from suppliers and throwing bales of the stuff away, don't mind paying for a decent hay they like. Think there is one of these stores not far from us, a new shop opened on a complex and we had a wander over but they had piggies/bunnies for sale so I walked out![]()
