A Retirement and an Exciting New Opportunity

Dear Piggies in Forumland

At the Committee Meeting of the GPU last night, I handed in my retirement letter. I have loved being your Shop Steward for the last 2 and half years but the long hours in the job are taking it's toll. I have been offered to take over as Chairpig of the Stripey Nose Club as Saxon is still very embarrassed about his faux pas at saying he was the President.

I have also been training Saxon to take over from me as Shop Steward and he's young and enthusiastic, has learnt fast and passed all his exams. The Members of the Committee decided that his name of Anglo Saxon was far too friendly and not formidable enough to be a Shop Steward, so they sent Saxon to see the King and Queen Guinea Pig with a letter where he was knighted and became Sir Saxon Canute. He will now, henceforth, be referred to as Sir Saxon or Sir Saxon Canute when on Official Business. He will resign from the Stripey Nose Club as soon as possible, as he can't do both jobs.
