Hi guys
My neighbour is moving home and going somewhere that won't take pets and she knows how much I love my boys and has asked if I would take her two girls on....
I DO have the time , the space and the money and the garden space to take care of two more BUT I'm just thinking how it would work in terms of dynamics , I'd obviously get my boys "done" and then have one girl for one done boar? The two boys to be perfectly honest just seem to tolerate eachother , no aggression just never seen together .. both at seperate ends of the room never snuggling etc..

I've told my neighbour about various rescues near us and I needed some time to think as more animals is a big commitment and I want to think it through.

Can you guys give me some advice / any experiences good OR bad would be so so helpful , the only probably is she's a bit dippy my neighbor and is the type to just leave them in the house when she moves so it can be the landlords problem !

What a dilemma. A very great deal depends on the sows. If they are are an older happily bonded pair then I would be loathe to split them up. Some older sows just won't accept a neutered boar (I've had that myself) and then you would have had the expense of neutering your boys, waiting 6 weeks and then finding that they won't tolerate each other. However, if they are young sows then they may accept your boars, but again it depends on the personalities involved.
Even knowing personalities it can be a surprise as to who will or won't accept each other.
It's a bit of a lottery to be honest.

Ugh I know I really want to help them , as I know what she's like but at the same time I don't want to annoy my boars

Sorry if I didn't see something but have you considered keeping your boars together and the girls (separate from your boars ofc) together instead? Rather than neutering. I remember an user who kept their boars cage on top of their girls cage to avoid droppings getting in the boys cage and creating a fight.

I have considered that , i could put them in another room I just would like them too all live happily ever after (well aware that it's all trial and error ) together if possible

If the boar pair and the sow pair get on well as they are then I don't see any sense in splitting them in to boar/sow pairs. I would keep them as they are :)
