I have a Midwest habitat and there's a few stains and I'm wondering what's the best way to remove the stains or reduce them. Any help is appreciated!

You can try soaking it with some white vinegar, I’m not sure whether it’ll ever come entirely off though.

Regarding reducing them - that would come down to the type of bedding and protective under layer you currently use

I have seen someone of Utube (can't remember who) washing their canvas in the washing machine. If you have one of those lovely top loading American machines I imagine that's the easiest way to clean it. If it's really bad I would replace the canvas with Coroplast, sit it inside the grids like a C&C cage.
To be honest I would use Coroplast over the canvas anyway, far easier to keep clean and hygienic.

What do you usually use to scrub? I use paper towels but should I use a cloth or a sponge?

I’ve lined one of my hutches with Correx, the other cages have an old oilcloth tablecloth on the bottom.
I’ve always used F10 and a sponge to wipe down my hutches and cages.

I would think you need a brush to get into the weave of the canvas, it's not like a smooth plastic/waterproof finish that can be easily wiped down. Not many people here have Midwest cages, they are more popular in the US. I think @Lorcan used to have one? If you did Lorcan, how did you clean it?

It's been a while, but it would've been some sort of unscented spray cleaner and a dishcloth, with a sponge instead if the cloth wasn't an option. iirc, the canvas wasn't too bad for wiping clean, it was closer to tarp that way. Apologies, I know that's not very specific.

I was wondering this also, mine have some stains. I wonder if I put the canvas in a pet laundry bag to wash it if it would help...

I have a Midwest cage for my foster piggies. I just pop the canvas part into the wash with a tiny bit of clear, sensitive laundry detergent. I run it on "waterproof" as it isn't a regular fabric. I have washed it with a load of towels on occasion too. I do have one stain that will just not come out, but it came to me that way. I agree with @Piggies&buns that lining the cage with coreplast would be best to keep away stains.

I have a midwest cage as well so it's fine to put the canvas in the washer?

Yes, I have washed the canvas. I don't do it very often as the waterproof backing on it (the shiner side) starts to crack. A gentle cycle would be best to wash it in or a waterproof cycle. A piece of coreplast on the bottom should help keep the staining down. I use fleece liners for my piggies so I don't have a problem with staining.
