Anaesthetic safety

Not really sure. Just know that eyes can get dry during surgery because natural reflexes are suppressed. You could maybe ask the vet about moisturizing eye drops for him.x
Maybe ill ring them back once we are home and suggest it. It makes him look so old on that side now. Not that it matters as long as he can see x

@Potterpig How is Buzz doing, did his eye improve ?
Hope your gorgeous little man is feeling much better.xx
Ahh bless you, thank you for asking! He's great! No more antibiotics or painkillers. He got the viscotears but the eye hasn't changed. It's weird, I can't describe it. The eye just is smaller now? He's seen the vet with it and they think he's fine but it's definitely changed. If you shine a light and catch the lens it's clear, it's not red or watering etc. I've continued to use the visco tears when he comes out for a cuddle (normally twice a day or so). Not really sure what else to do or whether to just accept this was just an effect of the surgery x

Glad he's ok. Very strange about his eye, don't know what to suggest. If he is not troubled by it and his vision is fine, I would just except that's the way it's going to be.
Tell him he is still very handsome and give him a big from me.xx
