Are You At Full Capacity?

Think it is all about how many you can manage to look after and give them the right amount of attention they need. As everyone has different circumstances, it is down to the individual:) I have 15 at the moment, but am at home all the time as I care for my hubby, so have the time to spend with my furbabies. Some days I think wow I have lots of piggies, how did that happen lol! I only started with 2, then really got interested in their personalities and behaviours and wanted a little tribe. I really have to resist gettiing more, as really don't have the room for extra, but I would definately adopt when I do!
 
I have three Boars (one who I intend to get neutered so he can have a wife) a mad young cat, two crazy children and a husband. Would love rabbits but have had to make the decision that the kids need the garden more at the moment, and I always put the cat and piggies into kennels if we go on holiday so the cost of any more would be a big hit, along with food, bedding pot. vet costs etc - so once I get my wee girlie pig the capacity will be FULL!

Once the kids grow up and leave home then of course there will be piggies and bunnies everywhere! :lol!:

I also have 3 fairly grown up girls, an airedale, a cat, a small aquarium and of course my hubby lol , busy household! :):):):0
 
I am now down to 5 after loosing Nuggets and Noodles - that is plenty for me - they are all over 4 now - so depending on who passes first I will either go down to 4 if Truffles husboar passes first - because she could go in with Bumble and his 2 wives - but if she passes first I will get a wife for Reg and stay on 5. - with the amount of illness I have had and vets bills nearly up to £2000 in the last 2 months I am up to capacity.
 
I have just one piggy at the moment and this is full capacity for me right now kind of, I would take another same age male to keep him company if I find one :-)
 
I have 2 piggies, 5 dogs, 4 cats, a tortoise, a 16 month old daughter and a husband who acts like a child lol!

I'm a never say never person, my door is always open to animals. Would love another piggie but as have 2 boars it's not an option. X
 
As of yesterday yes! Now have 4 sows & 2 boars- hadn't really planned on having 6 but we have now. They are split between me & the kids though( well so they think) Aldo got a senile cat & crazy dog.
 
I only have two... though I would love to have more and have the cage space at home, I spend my summers driving between home and the cottage and am out of space in the van to transport pigs (between luggage, my three kids, and my two pigs, the van is packed as it is!) So I think two is the most we can reasonably manage with our current lifestyle. I will admit I am a bit jealous of those with big herds... I would love to see the interaction of a big group but I don't think it's in the cards for the near future. Maybe when the kids grow up and move out I can become the surrogate mom to a bigger pig herd!
