Ok 11 of these piggys are now here (7 sows have gone to Cheryl):
Conrad (crested) and Jupp are a pair of Boars Golden dark eyed very sweet little boys not in bad condition just a bit thin Conrad is less than 1 Jupp is about 12 weeks. Photos of these guys were shocking so will have to take some more later, both been ivomecced and are living very merrily together, very nice pigs bless them.
These guys will need to go into foster care once they have had their second ivomeccing.
Jolly and 3 babies Jolly is weighing in at 580g is very baldy probably from hormones and vitamin deficiency as the skin looks healthy but we shall see. Babies all eating solids bless then so would say they are about 3 days old weighing in at 60-72g all boney and eatingl ike crazy.
Due to the state of health these guys will remain here
Jolly
Bandit - 920g boney but pregnant by the look of her was in with Jolly on arrival so will stay here just incase Jollys fur loss is something more ominous and I don't like moving unweight preggers girls more than is absolutely necessary. You can clearly see her back bone and how thin she is on the pics
Merry- 840g- boney and very pregnant probably about 3 weeks to go not bad in skin condition though will be staying here as would not move her again at this point in her pregnancy
Constance(Connie)- 830g in better shape than the others probably pregnant but in early stages if she is blue eyed white rex sweet temprement and is keeping the highly strung agoutis in line with her laid back attitude.
Connie will be fostered as she is in good shape to travel at the moment
Speed and Haste- A pair of manic agoutis both suspected early pregnant 650g and could not keep her still enough on the scales! An interesting pair but not for the inexperienced! Underweight but in general good condition
These guys will be fostered as they are in good shape to travel at the moment
I think it adds up to 18 guineas removed but I am now officially allergic to counting so I could be wrong!
This leaves the lady with whom they were dumped with a manageable number to cope with for now.
PS Sophie these agoutis are not satin but very shiny bless them! I think being shiny on photos is what agoutis do best!
So....hands very full here officially over 50 guineas at the moment thank crunchie some are going to new homes on Friday!
Ron and Sophie you are twinkly stars will be in touch with you both about who is going where,
Sophie you said on phone you would foster sheltie boys as they are fit and healthy,
Ron we spoke about the remaining three boars will phone the lady about them today
When speaking to you both last night I had not figured Conrad and Jupp into the fostering but hey ho we will sort it out as we go as per usual lol!
Big hugs to you both and Cheryl you are all stars!
