I'm so very sorry to hear this, and know what you're going through. As well as your own vets, contact all the vets in the area, in case someone found her and took her to their own vet instead. Can you make posters and put them in shop windows and on lamp-posts everywhere. Door knocking is good, and go as far as you can, in case she wandered off further than she usually does. Contact your local animal warden (through the Council), also any local animal rescue places and leave your name and number with everyone. Is she microchipped, or wears a collar with a name/address tag? Very best wishes that she's home soon.

I'm so sorry to hear about your missing cat, it sounds like you are doing all the right things. Keeping my fingers crossed that you find her soon.

Aw, I am sorry to hear about your cat - I would do everything that Sue has suggested. I can only imagine what your going through - my cats are my babies and I would devastated if one went missing (mine are house cats though due to too many busy roads and a problem with missing/hurt cats in my area).

hi no news have knocked on doors nobody has seen her yesterday or today but they all promised to keep an eye out she is the only tabby cat around my area i am going to make some posters and stick them up around village contacted my vet who is in my village and they said they will contact me if they hear anything i am going to contac some more vets in the next villages i just need to know what has happend to her as it is so out of character for her she doesent normally go far

I'm so very glad she's back home, and please do let us know what the vet says. I think the worst part of it when they disappear is the "not knowing" and you are always wondering, but I'm delighted for you and for her that she's home now. Please give her a kiss from me ... I've been through it myself, and felt so bad for you.

misty had to stay at vets tonight as she is going to have to be x rayed in the morning the vet thinks she has a dislocated hip he thinks a car has clipped her she has had 2 injections an antibiotic and a pain killer hated leaving her but she seemed happy enough put her in the cage myself she was happily purring will know more after her xray hate the thought of her having anasthetic and hated signing the form agreeing to it will keep you posted:...

So glad to hear you found her - keeping my fingers crossed her injuries aren't too serious. Purring definitely a good sign.:)

Of course you hated leaving her, but in the cage she'll rest quietly and not put undue pressure on her hip, and if she's had a painkiller it will probably help her to sleep too. Sending her healing vibes.

So very sorry to hear this and crossing everything that Misty will be okay.:) How old is she?/ I am so glad that you have found her though.

Cats have a tremendous capacity for healing, she is in the best place at the moment and she has all your love and attention to look forward to when she gets home, which I'm sure will be pretty soon.

Keep us posted and give her our love.

Try to get some rest yourself. :)
