Bad news for Poppy

Poppy managed to pull one of her stitches out after mondays vets visit, which took us 2 and a half hours there and back, due to the A50 being shut rolleyes. Anyway it left me no option but to cut the remaining one as it was pulling her eyelid and she was trying to scratch it. On closer inspection the eye seems to be healing very well, just a slight raised lump on the surface of her lense, the cloudyness has gone too. Due back at the vets on monday 27th, but I think she is going to be ok dare I say. Final injection too for mites, thank goodness.
 
Just been to the vets tonight, the vet has examined Poppy's eye, he said that there was just a bit of scarring left on the eye suface, but other than that she was ok. I am very relieved that her eye has healed and it just goes to show how these little animals bounce back after something like this.:)
