Sreep
Junior Guinea Pig
It appears that one of my new Piggies has some sort of skin condition/fungal infection.
This couldn't of happened at a worse time! I have no transport to vets until I pick my car up from the garage sometime next week and I literally live in the middle of nowhere between fields and trees and about 16 miles from my vets.
Just want some advice...
I've literally just spent over an hour disinfecting the whole set-up whilst my son napped now my question is any ideas on how to help the poor blyter for the minute?
He has patches of badness appear above his eye and on his cheek with stray hairs dotted around the patch among the dry flaky skin. I do believe it could possibly be ringworm judging by the looks of it.
I would upload a picture but at the moment my 2 year old is on a tyrade and I very much doubt he would let me have 5 minutes peace to allow for a picture without trying to get in the setup himself or trying to stroke the piggies. Other days this wouldn't be an issue but if it is ringworm, I don't fancy it spreading around the place like wildfire thanks to my boys grubby little mitts.
I will try and upload a photo come 7pm when he is put to bed.
