Bath Time at the HGs'! And some good news...

Seven out of thirteen got bathed today. I'm so pleased as some of them were getting pretty grubby, the boys especially. I let Olivia decide who was being bathed and she helped me for a bit, squeezing shampoo out on my hand.

So all groups apart from the big six have been pampered today - Dexter and his five girls get their turn tomorrow.

Everyone was very well behaved, nobody tried to jump out and I got away without any scratches. Sophia debated jumping, but didn't, and Pandora clung to my arm but didn't manage to jump out.

Everyone apart from Pandora had their hair blow dried...I think the rexes may be my new favourite breed after Pandora was totally dry just from being towel dried for a few minutes! The way their hair 'works' is very fascinating. And the satin shine is simply stunning, I must try to get photos of her in good light tomorrow as she really is sparkling - never seen anything like it!

Of course, thirteen pigs need lots of shampoo, so I'd better get myself off to the GG site and put another order in. Not before these photos though!

Oh, and the good news...looks like Pandora's new hubby could be arriving tomorrow. My mum may be able to meet Jill on the M1 at Northampton to collect him.

I am impressed! Also slightly worried that so many of you can recognise my pigs from their rear ends. :(|)

Errol is on the left, Elijah on the right.

Errol has more white on him and is actually quite a bit chunkier than his brother, although the photos are deceptive. The pics were pre-bath so their hair was a bit greasy and wavy whereas it's now smooth and silky!

Hurrah, I was hoping I got it right! Lovely boys. I saw one of their relatives today - from the 'B' batch, he was called Bing! when he left here but renamed Romeo, he came to pair up with one of the baby boars, and he's stunner too!

It's the first proper smile I've seen from him in ages, he's been a right old grump lately!

She does, she's a little old lady really, bless her! Notice her front feet too? Miles apart - it's the way her shoulders are so stiffly positioned.
