Bath Time at the HGs'! And some good news...

I haven't got the other six bathed yet, I think I'm going to try to get them all done tonight or tomorrow morning. Ideally tonight as they have a clean cage, could do with clean piggies in that clean cage. rolleyes
 
Bath time for Dexter and the girls ended up being a whole week late, I got them sorted yesterday. Better late than never!

Fab photos. Am gearing up to bath my girls when the gorgeous guineas parcel arrives. Any tips? How/ do you wash their faces? :{
 
I'm doing 4 tonight eek.

Best tip I have had is to use a washing up bowl to put them in inside the bath.

Use a sponge to get the lather onto and off their faces it's so much easier than trying to avoid eyes and stuff.

Laura - they are such cute photos! They look so neat even in the bath!
 
your piggies are so well behaved at bath time, i need to show Mac and Rascal the photos and shame them for the wimps they are rolleyes the water is so clean as well, i must have really dirty boys as their water is filthy compared to yours :(
 
Ah, there is a bit of a cunning trick there Sarah...that was the "final rinse" water. They were clean before they got in that water. Can't have anyone thinking my lot get filthy! :))

(Between you and me, Elijah and Errol's bathwater was yellow. Really, really gross.)

Most of them behave well though. Sophia always prepares to jump so it takes much calm, soothing talking and a hand constantly nearby to stop her trying to escape. Willa is a nightmare, you cannot take your hand off her for a second; she is getting a little better but she will always hate baths.
