Adult Guinea Pig
Hiya
I noticed yesterday that Bella (4) was a little enlarged around her girly bits . . . sorry dunno how quite to put it . . . . and a little wet, but she's otherwise bright as a button and eating and everything so wasn't too worried, but I brought her in for a better look and kinda blotted her on a kitchen towel. It showed a very pale pinky colour and I thought to myself how daft I am, she's just having a season, just never happened to notice it before. The dogs parts swell a little during a season so why not a guinea.
Just checking again today and the situation looks a bit worse than that now. Still the swelling, but to one side it looks a bit raw (guessing she may have been chewing at it?) and is quite red, not actively bleeding though. Her poo looked a bit softer than usual.
Vets first thing obviously but any ideas? She was still first one at the food bowl so I'm hoping its nothing too bad. x
