Best Way To Extract Dust From Hay?

I assume the dust is made of broken bits of hay, not dirt? ReadiGrass always has lots of hay dust and small grass blades at the bottom. I always make these into hay cookies, which the pigs enjoy.

But sorry, I can't help with ideas to extract dust at home - and in any case, it would be a messy business. The machine that's used to extract dust commercially is huge.

there was an article in the guinea pig magazine a year ago, suggested you use a olf fan,use an old metal top from a small commercial cage ,place fan near it at top speed, and all the dsut is extracted from the hay.place hay in the old metal top from a small commercial cage,:)

How do you make the hay cookies? They sound interesting and a good way to use up these bits :)
