What a handsome boy Saxon is! Lucky Miss Bramble
Or they’re plotting something…..It looks like a very intellectually stimulating conversation. He has to work hard to impress a class act like Misty.
Dear Saxon,Well the trio survived their first night in the Penthouse Suite of Betsy Towers without incident and have all morning cuddles, combs (Misty and Bramble) and coriander. (Saxon just had a very quick cuddle after a weigh in - a small loss from yesterday but nothing to worry about I just want to make sure he's eating enough hay in his new home). Saxon didn't think it was a good idea to take the coriander from my hand so I put it in the hutch with him. He loves a snugglesafe and hopped straight back on it as soon as he was back in the hutch. They all have had their breakfast pellets which they were running about finding in the hay. I'll keep them in the hutch for a few days before I pop them in the run for the day as I think it's best to get them settled in one environment before introducing another especially as Saxon needs stability atm having been in several different places over the last few weeks.
Saxon is a rumbler! He rumbles a lot.He has a vet check next week.
Hopefully he’ll settle in soon.Saxon has lost weight since he arrived here on Wednesday (around 40g). I know it's just cos he's settling in and everything is a bit strange for him atm. He is eating hay but clearly not enough. I've got some Readygrass which I am giving the trio and I'm topping Saxon up with syringe food. He wasn't very sure of it at first and kept trying to take the syringe out of his mouth with his foot, but now he seems to be OK with it. I think he's a bit of a diva like Thea was cos he refuses to gollop it from the bowl and insists on the syringe.
