My mum doesn't want to drive me there, she says we should see if she lasts the night cause they'll just put her down

Can you get a taxi? We really do have a duty of care. I have no idea what pain relief can be prescribed but I am certain she will need some. If she's in pain she might not eat as a result
 
A vet should require some form of paperwork before they can euthanise any animal, a signature at the very least.

Ill try to convinve her to take me, she already stopped eating. I don't want to be selfish forcing her to live pain but I'm so scared of losing her

We're going to try go to the vet now, I think she's getting worse

They said her living is a 50/50 chance and tried to encourage me to put her down.
I figured those are pretty good odds though considering...
They're keeping her over night, giving her fluids and painkillers and they're going to try make her eat, they think she might have some neurological damage or swelling around her head causing the lack of balance and head tilt and if she survives the night they'll probably have to amputate her leg since it seems broken :(
 
Poor little thing... very sad situation for you if they have to amputate her leg 😢 x

At least then she'll live :( more worried about neurological damage, there isn't such a simple answer for that... I'll do some research about it tonight in case she makes it until tomorrow

Got an update, her blood sugar is dropping, they've her sugar but it kept dropping, it's at 1.7 now, they said she's unlikely to survive and warned me if she dies it'll be through seizures and it's nicer to just let her go now

if you have a garden, find a nice little spot to bury her (make the hole quite deep) I am sorry for your loss x
 
So sorry she has gone, but you made the right decision, she just had so many things going against her, poor little mite x

The vet can send her off for cremation. You can choose the cheaper mass cremation option where you won't get any ashes back , or the more expensive single cremation that you can get ashes back.

In my area we also have an independent pet crematorium who does it at theie own site and give you the option to scatter the ashes there too.

I think I'll probably stick with burial, I definitely want the ashes back and she's so tiny there'd be nothing left
 
She's burried :( I made a memorial box for her with her favourite food, her last full meal, clippings of her fur and the bed she died in, conveniently also her favourite bed.
I'm going to add a memory stick with every video and picture I have of her when I can, all the other pigs but one said goodbye when I put her in the cage

I'm so sorry for your loss. I too had to burry our little Prince the other day and I cried a lot. You did everything you could for your little one. Big hugs to you.

Popcorn free little one. No more pain now. ❤️
