Dental Blodwen - dental and ringworm

Good luck for both you and Blod...I had a similar-ish situation a year ago and the waiting nearly killed me, I can only imagine how you feel right now. Deep breaths, because whatever happens, you've done more than your best.

Was that really a year ago? One of my cats has to go for a dental on 6th December and I’m already bricking it :( (it’s not urgent) Although I must admit, I worry more over the guinea pigs

Just over, yeah. You should've heard me when the vet called the hospital to say he was good, I whooped so loudly.

Still waiting...

He might've gone into surgery slightly later than 11am. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this, between Blod and your mum. You're doing incredibly well.

Sooooooo happy for you. I know how desperate you must have been, I'm the same when Rory is in for his teeth to be filed under GA.
Perhaps you could try pumpkin puree and crushed oats in with the critical care to keep little Blodwen going until she is eating well again.
Well done to you all for such devotion to your little furbaby, she is so fortunate that you saved her and are taking the very best care of her.
Really hope it's leaps and bounds forward for you all now xx

I'd best reassemble her cage, I did an F10 blitz on all the grids and clips to keep busy while we were waiting to hear! She's had a skin scrape taken too to see if her ringworm has gone yet.
How long does it take for the results to come back?

Going away for the weekend and may not be able to log in (am taking laptop as I am hopeful that I'll be able to) so had to find out what had happened to Blodders before I go It's fantastic news that she has got through the op. She'll be right as rain in no time with your tlc.

She's syringe feeding and eating spinach for piggy daddy straight away :)
If you could do multiple"likes" I would - I just love the fact that Blod started eating straight away for piggy daddy. He obviously has such a bond with her. 😍 Onwards and upwards Blodwen!

Both sides of her back teeth have had spurs removed, the vet hopes she'll be ok now once she starts eating hay... but no way to know for sure as she never had much hay in her previous life, they hope she will get the idea of hay pretty fast and she has a hay tray full of very soft green meadow hay to start off with if she feels inspired! Think we'll have to wait until she meets the herd and see how fast she picks up normal eating habits...
