I put my guinea pig on a blanket and she peed and it looks like there’s a bit of blood on it? Does anyone know what this can be?

Hi!

Please see a vet for a potential urinary tract infection (UTI) or bacterial or sterile cystitis (bladder infection).

The symptoms for these three issues are very similar; the two first ones react to antibiotics, the last one cannot be cured with an antibiotic and is usually only diagnosed by a default after all other urinary tract problems have been excluded, including bladder or kidney stones.
