Blood/pain When Urinating

Do you know what type of cystitis? If it is an infection then yes antibiotics are needed. If it is Interstitial cystitis which is inflammation of the bladder then no antibiotics are needed, but the Metacam will help. Plus he could have something like Cystease or Vegan Glucosamine.

No, no one has said which type sadly. The vet he went to see on Friday was Ellie and exotics vet at Alfreton Park vets which is in the vet locater. Ellie said that she thinks he's emptying his bladder when it doesn't need emptying because he feels uncomfortable, hence giving him the metacam.

Like I said, he is no longer peeing blood, not squeaking like he did when he was peeing/pooing, but he is moaning a little bit, I am not sure if it's Big E bothering him, because someone times he'll tell Big's off or he'll just have a chunter to him, when we ;last check he had put weight back on, but his poo is small.

I'm going to ask my son to get them both out again later and put a towel/mattress protector on the floor to see how he is and check if he is indeed making the noise due to pain or if he was just chuntering to Big's, will also check his pee again and weigh him.

Is it possible to call them to see what the diagnosis was?

I just called, she never put a diagnoses, just says on the screen that he;s on metacam for pain, the receptionist is going to get Ellie to give me a call back about it though. I sort of need the info anyway because if he does need to go back then I want to give the right info to the PDSA, if I could get him to Derby again it wouldn't be so bad really, but I really can't.

@helen105281 not heard from the vet yet but it doesn't matter @artcasper thinks she remembered the vet saying "it might be the remnants of his previous infection?" and my son just confirmed it.

We've just had him out and he pooped, which is getting back to normal, no crying, pee'd, no blood, no crying. We also weight him and he's put another 20g on. So he's 1120 now.
