Not our weird, muppet-sounding language? As a Swede I do have to say Norwegians sounds even more like the muppet show live. An angry Norwegian. You cant take that seriously!

I often see so cute pictures and videos on Guinea pig munching away on bananas. Chip ate a little bit when given, but none of my other boys was very interested. Well, now I have mister Banana at home and I'm curious if he likes it (he actually tastes everything I give him). Do your pigs like bananas? How much and how often can they have a little piece? Can they eat the peel too, or should I think of that like poisoned?
 
Pino liked a tiny bit of banana once or twice but not every time I offered it to him.
The girls (and most of my late piggies) think it's poison. :yikes:
 
Mine only get the banana flesh when it's mashed in with guinea pig soup when they're ill. They love a bit of the skin but don't get it very often.
 
Some of mine liked the stringy bits that are sometimes still clinging to the banana when you peel it, or else Human can remove them from the peel. They were a treat from above dangled in front of piggie mouths, so piggie had to work out how to get said thing into mouth.

My piggies also enjoyed the little bit of banana left in the bottom of the peel. It's less sweet. I've read that the pesticides tend to congregate there, so they only got that if I had organic bananas in.

One of my childhood guineas Tiddly devoured mouthfuls of my brother's banana while he was briefly distracted. But she was a little crazy. Bananas are pretty sweet so I wouldn't give them to any guinea these days in any quantity or with any regularity.
 
Most of mine have loved banana mashed into syringe food.
Micah would have eaten a banana every day if he could.

I have to try Benny. Harry does not like it all, he ran from it. He does that alot when he's not satisfied with the food I give him - and he's very selective about what he eats. Its very good for him having a buddy, because now he needs to taste things and be brave.

Benny Banana has became a monster. He started to wheeeeeeek around 8 this morning when he heard Miniwheener wake up. He then wheeeeeked until I got up. He got the morning cucumber. He then wheeeeeked on me as soon as I moved somewhere in the apartment. I had to leave the house, and as soon as I did I got a message that he was finally quiet. He messes with me, that little one....

To be honest, two of his brother from the same litter has not found their forever homes yet. They are both precious! One look exactly like Ben, but creme-coloured. The other one is also grey, but darker. I'm soooo close to just take them home...

In Sweden Guinea pigs dont believe in gender stereotypes. That's why everything our mamahooman buys us is pink.

He had a ponytail standing right up in the air when the hoomans came home today. Like a third of it is cut off here, unfortunately. It looked very modern!

Me myself is a chicken so I ran from the scissors like always. She destroyed my shark fin! She says she needs someone to hold me when she cuts me. I get really really angry.

Miss Bramble had most of her fur cut off yesterday as she was so hot! I kept her lovely cape but all the rest came off and now she's much cooler. She likes having a summer furdo cos it gets rid of her fur coat which she doesn't like to wear in the summer.

We had a heat-stroke two weeks ago, but it just lasted for a couple of days. Harry was chilling on his cooling pad but didn't act like he was really bothered about the heat. He needs to cut his hair though, he looks a bit homeless and crazy. I imagine it feels good when it's done - especially when you hate the comb with intense! And its a couple of weeks more summer to come, it can get hot again (just when my vacation is over...).

Harry is a very calm eater. He loves his food, and takes his time to enjoy it. Benny is more the Saxon-type. When it's really good you can almost hear the wind say "swoffffff" and the food is gone. To chew is very overrated!

Benny would love to have Saxon as his penpig! He thinks Saxon is quite intellectual, and he needs a friend like that. Harry and his baby crew Mr Bob and Pinky Pinkeye? Fun. But not smart.

Hello Saxon!

Today slave said something about "unpopped cherries" and "I wonder when its the best age to visit the plum-fairy"? I'm very smart so I understand she wants to take my shrimps caviar away! Harry said he has his left, but that you did this and live with girls. Do they take care of you like a mama? Harry said something about married and stuff. Like whats thats Saxon? Harry does not want to talk about this, he just rumbles me.
