Bonding Beans With A New Pig.

Sounds like so far so good. Hope it continues. Lily occasionally tries to assert herself but early she looked shocked as I caught her snuggled under the logs with Daisy

I am so pleased you managed to find a rescue friend for Beans and that they are getting on well.
The search goes on for a friend for Bracken.

Food names to go with Beans? The obvious ones are Sausage or Mash - but maybe you've ruled those out already. Tatoe or Tattie for a furry potato? Sprout?

Hope she and Beans become firm friends anyway.

So far so good anyway, just hope Beans doesn't get too stressed with it. And I hope little baby pig doesn't try to overthrow Beans

How is that going trying to find a suitable friend?

I'm not having much luck with rescues, the ones closest to me no longer do boar dating. The very helpful Suzy at Glenneath has said she would do it if I can't find anywhere nearer (75 miles) but she is booked up until the end of november. I've stayed up until the early hours for a week researching and emailing. Suzy is trying some of her contacts closer to me, so I've got everything crossed. I'm on a waiting list at a rescue where they don't have any boars at present. My next door neighbour is putting me in touch with a hobby breader who normally only breeds for himself tomorrow in case I have to go down the DIY route, I'll avoid P at H if I possibly can.

I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time with it. I know we're all about rescues but if you have a lonely pig then their needs are important. I was going to go to P@H because I didn't think I was going to get to the rescue in time but luckily I managed today. It's a 120 mile round trip mind you..

Don't feel bad if you go to pets at home. Your piggy needs company and no one would judge you. X

Good luck with the bonding and the new piggie sounds gorgeous. No suggestions for names from me i'm afraid, it took me two weeks to name the two I have now lol.

I’m so glad to hear that you’ve got a new companion for Beans. She sounds gorgeous. Can’t wait to see photos x

@Hank288 I will keep you in mind, thank you. I have one Rescue that does boar dating yet to get back to me and I know they have a single boar. I would rather let an expert bond Bracken if I can as he is still a teenager and hormonal!

How is it going! Can't wait for a photo of this elusive little lady

What a gorgeous little girly. I want one! I love my piggies to bits, but they all have pretty much the same short back and sides (with long bits behind their ears - go figure). I'd love a long haired ginger piggy, and that over the top blonde quiff thing she has going on is sooo Princess Di!
