Give him a wider variety of veg in his diet every day - it helps with hydration but also nutrients. He can have lettuce, cucumber, bell pepper and coriander every day.
The amount of pellets he has is fine - they can have one tablespoon so if he is only having five then you certainly aren’t giving him too many.
Do keep in mind that going too low in calcium intake can also cause problems for them - when it is too low the balance in the diet can still be wrong as much as when intake is too high
