Lady Kelly
Senior Guinea Pig
Ok well you may remember my post saying Bumble had a urine burn on one of her back feet so have been putting paw ointment on from gorgeous guineas. Last week I noticed what I thought was a bit of poo stuck to her foot but as it didn't come off readily I thought I would wait and remove it at bathtime this week (she's been lying in her wee and so her pretty white bum was all stained!).
So I get her out for bathtime today and I know she hates it, she was well behaved and her back paw looks to be healing nicely. However, this piece of "poo" did not come off and now I'm thinking after a closer examination that it is a scab! There appears to be a smaller one on the same foot. I've taken a couple of pictures although they are not overly clear and have massaged the ointment in well to all of her paws.
Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? She is displaying no sign of pain or discomfort with any of this, eating, drinking and most definitely pooping as normal. She has not lost weight or anything... just same old bumble inbreeding
