Bumblefoot or spurs?

Hi, I’m a new pig owner of 2 (Ten and Donna) and I’m worried they might have bumble foot. I've only included Ten's pictures here, but Donna's looks about the same (on both the front and back paws). I can’t tell if the spots on their feet are just spurs or not. They’ve both been moving around fine and when I poked at Ten’s spots, she didn’t seem bothered.

Also, if this is bumble foot, what treatment would you recommend? I've been giving them Epsom salt baths twice daily, and I'm getting Gorgeous Guinea F&M ointment soon to apply after the soaks. My mom doesn't think a vet trip is necessary yet so we've been trying to treat it at home first.

It could be dried on pieces/debris from soft crumbled poos? It doesn't look like either a bumblefoot sore or spurs to me.

Spurs are dead skin grows that grow on the side of the pressure pads of the front feet and bumble foot sores cause scabs on the pressure pads and back foot soles but not on the sides because they pick up germs from the ground through tiny cracks in the skin. Bumblefoot comes with swelling in the area around the scab, which is not present at all in your piggy.

Hmm I thought so at first but when I tried picking it off it didn’t budge, so maybe they’re calluses?

Dried on poos don't come off easily. You will have to soak the feet and then very gently work the stuff off. It can take several rounds.

If you cannot get things off and are concerned, please see a vet.

Yippee I gave Ten a soak and the poop came off Although there’s this tiny brown sliver I couldn’t get off:

Just on the side of her paw
Do you think it’s anything to be worried about or is that natural?

Well done!

That is likely a spur. Nothing to worry about. About a quarter or a third of piggies develop them.
