HairlessWillow7
Adult Guinea Pig
I adopted my hairless guinea pig, Willow, a few months ago. She had been dropped of at a veterinary clinic, and never picked up again. She was sent to a guinea pig rescue and well taken care of there.
But, I think her previous owners put her in a wire bottomed cage
and she got bumblefoot from it.
At first when I got her , it seemed to hurt to walk. Now, the swelling in her feet has gone down a lot and she walks around a lot, but it isn't gone yet. She has scabs on her front paws, and had an infection in one once.
Sometimes her scabs come off, but they always come back.
She has a clean dry cage, plenty of food & water, and vitamin C. Is there anything else I can do about this? Any advice will be appreciated
