Aw thanks for asking, he's doing really well - touch wood! He's actually gained 10grams since Monday lol! He's healing well, only a tiny red speck on one of his incisions but no inflammation or discharge or anything and he's content and happy and eating/pooping well. He has has post op check on Sunday and if the vet thinks he's ready he'll be moving back into his old home and the countdown begins till he can intergrate with the girls :D

Oh, that's just GREAT! Glad to hear it. The happier days are just ahead for Mr. Bumble. Sounds like he's going to be just fine. So happy. Thanks for the update.

Those are great news! Can't wait to hear what the vet says on Sunday!

Just back from Bumble's post-op :) they say he is healing very well and has the all clear to return to his cage :)

At the moment he and the girls share a 3 storey 3x2 grid C&C - with the central floor split down the middle with a grid so they can see each other.

I gave his cage a clean out and he is settled back home and popcorning like crazy, and has had a rumbly through-the-barricades-esque reunion with his girls, who were also pleased (if a little bemused) to see him again. I've put a few picks below, one has half of my iPad cover the lens but it was too cute a picture to not share!

Thanks for all your messages and support :) the countdown is on for him to join the herd, the vet said about another 3 weeks, does that sound about right?

Oh, sweet Bumble and the girls just look so content and how wonderful when they can all be together.

Thanks for posting pics! So adorable.

Adorable photos. The minimum amount of time is 6 weeks post op, so I think your vet is being a bit optimistic with his timings.

That's so nice to hear!
And I agree with Helen, I always read that the minimum time to wait is 6 weeks, so I wouldn't wait less than that, just in case!
