Burgess Excel Or Science Selective

Well I have mixed burgess and the science selective together but my guys still don't really eat it, they seem to just keep demoliting the little treat sticks I hang on the doors instead. I don't want mine to not have food so I am going back to wagg, lucky I give them veg every day or they would be hungry. As I said before astranout food or the real thing, what would you prefer.
 
@Brad My two love the burgess excel and science selective they eat both. They go crazy when they hear the bag open!

I think my guys are just very clever and probably think I'm not eating those compacted pellets give me the real deal lol
 
I think that it is best to feed a variety of pellets just in case they get stuck on one brand and refuse to eat nothing else. My guinea pig is currently getting a mix of Tesco nuggets, Asda Nuggets, Harringtons Nuggets, Excel with Blackcurrant and Oregano, Pets at Home Nuggets and Country Value Fruity Nuggets! The types that he doen't eat won't be purchased again. Bev.
 
The piggies at TEAS are fed a mainly hay and grass diet. They have a small amount of veg once a day and nuggets (I use all sorts) as an occasional treat rather than a meal. Ive never had a piggy with a bladder issue so feel this diet works really well.
 
Their main diet is hay,vegetables and a small amount of pellets,I just want what's best for them. I will start feeding more grass.
 
@Lucy1666 I can't get harringtons in any local petshops,haven't tried jollyes or pets at home they're an hour away so access isn't easy.
 
i have bags of each and just mix them together.
gives them a variety without the worry of them selective feeding as they get the nutrients whichever brand they eat
 
Mine love the science selective! They were never that bothered about the nuggets. Don't get me wrong, they would eat them but they wouldn't gorge on them. Since I've started mixing in science selective they go straight to the bowl and eat all those when I top it up!
