I've been going back and forth with kitchen area ideas for my piggies for a while, they had a kitten litter tray but it wasn't really big enough - one would sit in the middle and the other would want to get into the hay so we've tried a corner one - same issue but it gives them more space in the cage (they're currently in a 2x4 c&c until we redesign the entire living room and custom build them a cage and make the whole room pig proof!)

I've just seen this in a completely unrelated cage liner listing and i've fallen in love! Does anyone know where I can find one for sale?
I was going to buy a cage liner and shape it but the place I usually go a 1x1 or 2x2 is only £4 less than an entire 2x4 liner! I have the binder clips to cover the edges already (and the ruined hands to prove it 😂) but I don't want to pay £50 and cut off half of it!

I figured if I did 1.5x2 it'll be big enough for each pig to roll around and soil all the expensive hay but not get in the way of their zoomies since the lip is quite low and they can just step over it!

I’m not sure. - unless the enclosure is big - it just seems like it would interrupt the zoomies when they get going - even with the lower ‘lip’ bit. I quite like the hay in more areas, so that they munch wherever they sit. It looks nice and tidy tho 🥰

We have a medium kitchen from cage creations. Its good quality. I haven’t really used it at home.
We initially brought it for holidays. So we can use disposable bedding in it and fleece in the rest. It works really well.
(At home we our guinea pigs have a strange shape play space and permanent home, so it doesn't really fit.)

Have a look here, they sell kitchens and are far more reasonable in terms of pricing!

oh wow how have I never seen this site before -thats perfect!

I'm hoping it'll be low enough to not interupt zoomies! one of our piggies has pea eye, which is fine but if he puts his head into a hay bag/box etc the skin there is quite tight and it tends to rip - so I'm trying to come up with a solution to minimise him getting an infection! even though this way he will basically be underneath all the hay 90% of the time but at least he wont have an open wound to get dust in!
