Hello!

So I have a rescue pig coming in about a week so time is precious. I just wanted some opinions on good/simple/cheap cage options as this pig may not spend very long with me. She is coming in a rusting chicken wire covered little cage so an upgrade is a must. She was posted by a Facebook friend as "a great Christmas gift for your child!" And with small animal rescues full around here I decided to take the leap to give her a temporary home while searching for a suitable family. I just didn't trust that she wouldn't end up staying in that cage for life otherwise.

I know that the c&c cages are very popular but as this is most likely temporary, I'm looking for other options as well.

Thanks for any ideas!

Yaa, thanks so much anyways. I've found that the UK small animal scene is much bigger than in Canada. When I had my hamster it took alot of work to set up a habitat that satisfied me. $40 for a proper sized hamster wheel because shipping! 😱
