My lovely Captain Jack is very poorly - he has a large lump underneath his tummy, by his back leg, which has opened up and is bleeding. I've washed him down, he was such a good patient boy with me, and am now waiting for vets to open.
I don't know what to do - my local vets aren't great, and I fear they will just offer put to sleep as an option. But to take him to Vedra is a good hour and a half, which I don't mind, but I'm worried it will be stressful for him and might still have the same result
He's my favourite. I know you shouldn't have favourites, but he is. He's 5 years old so I doubt they'd want to operate on him.
No idea what caused the lump - it's huge, the size of a golf-ball, and came on so suddenly?
