I havent been on here for a few days. But one of my girls who was pregnant and possibly overdue had a ceasarian this week. She was unable to pass the pups, had contractions and could not have them naturally. She was taken to theatre and 4 pups delivered. One died in the theatre, didnt make it recovering from the birth. Although he/she only weighed 58g, so maybe just too small? Another died later in the evening. However we've got two still alive and kicking. Mum has no milk and isnt interested in them so I'm having to hand rear the little humbugs. They are doing really well. Very slowly starting to pick up the idea of eating hay. I'm not sure whats best to show them because mum isnt impressed with having them nearby, but hopefully as time goes on they can start learning to eat on their own. Mum is recovering very well. Shes eating well, started eating just hours after surgery, a little sore (no wonder) and on the road to recovery. Heres a few pics of the little babies for those who want to know. The little fella with the black face didnt make it but i got a few pics before he/she passed away.
