Yeah she's got antibiotics I've got some of that powdery stuff you put on there food to help with congestion

She a bit of a diva actually I used to be able to leave her on the sofa to give her extra feeds but now she won't have it she literally does a flying leap of the couch and finds me! So now I have to put her on my knee and hand feed her.

Yeah her original name was bellatrix but unchanged it to cheeky once ingot to know her a bit.

I've just managed to speak to the other vet. She said from what I'm saying she also thinks its her kidneys because he is still eating but is wasting away and will probably prescribe frusemide. I said like I just happen to have some in my piggie closet so she's advised I give her 1/4 of a tablet to see how she does on it. I said to her isn't there a pee test you can do to check kidneys ten other vet told me no but this one says yes there is. So there is a little ray of light down that long tunnel.

Don't know how I'm gonna get the tablet down her tho she's a swine for taking meds

Hi, I am so sorry that your piggy is not well. Simon Maddock at the Cat and Rabbit clinic in Northampton is very good with piggies. It might be worth asking your vet to give him a call to see if he has any ideas - 01604 478888. He is really lovely.

I hope that you and your piggy are better soon. x

She's been admitted for now to see if anything can be done for her before i decide to have her PTS

Big hugs to you and Cheeky, whatever you decide will be the best thing by her and she knows that. x
