You can feed them cherrys without the stones but I wouln't have thought the stalk would hold that much interest for themto be honest.

Hi!

I get the pip out of the middle first (without squeezing too much cherry juice on the floor...) and then just give it them whole, stalk and all - which they gobble up within seconds =] - I've fed them cherries like this on a few occasions and they seem fine! =]

never tried mine with them, i always give mine the stalk on grapes when they have them and they like that..seedless of course lol

I know that cherry stones are poisonus and shouldn't be fed but i also read (i cant find the website, still looking) that cherry branches are poisonus too so i wouldn't give them the stalks

Sorry cant cut and paste the site but found this:

POISON NOTES: Cherry fruit is great to eat, but the leaves, bark, twigs and pits of cherries contain dangerous amounts of a cyanide-producing compound.

I give mine apple branches they love it

Just to back Little M up, she is correct. I only give my two scubbed apple branches. Any other branches need to be 'cured' for 3 months, or baked.
