Specialist Cocoa Poorly Lip And Congested. Pls Help. Photos

We back. Not great journey to be Honest Cocoa didnt travels well.
Kris was ok with piggie her lip now is horrible and cracks so we going to reduce her steroids and apply

Cocoa was good at the vets and we agreed to keep her as we are and tho weight is down to 910 but Kris was not too alarmed.
Cocoa is not in pain and as long as she shows me what she did when I arrived home gave me the green light to keep going. .
I park up and opened the door and Cocoa sense Heidi and Chloe were near.
She scrambled like hell to get out of the carrier. Was heart warming to put the herd back.
Cocoa now eating and I'm dryin my eyes as daddy doesn't cryin front of the kids.View attachment 95124

One of my girls Mavis is a bit off-colour today, not shouting for breakfast and then didn't eat all her veggies which is really unusual. So we have a vets appointment at 4.40pm. It is really worrying as i am going on holiday abroad tomorrow for 17 days.

oh lass you be worried.
Try and be postive if Mavis been poorly say 2 days into your holiday then that could be worse. You got time to see what's up with her. I'm sending you best wishes and good vibes ok. x

Mavis has slow gut sounds and has been given Cisapride and Metacam for 5 days. The vet couldn't find any obvious reason for this. Just hoping she is ok while we are away.
She has eaten her evening veggies so she may be feeling a bit better.

Cocoa you look after yourself and daddy. You are the bravest piggy ever and I am sad that your lip is so poorly. The cream will help even if it is a bit horrible. :luv:

I've had a meeting with Cocoa which include a poo on daddy and she and i agree you have not hijacked her thread she says you welcome to put anything on here anytime ok.

Hi everyone I'm struggling and I've had a big weep. Cocoa is down to 880 weight. She's amazing and i bath her and did her lip. separated her whilst she ate watching the others. She not once showed any signs of pain or discomfort.
I wish she would put weight on.

I’m glad she’s still eating but it’s a shame she’s loosing weight, bless her.You really are doing an amazing job.
 
Hello. Sorry not been on lately.
Hectic but I've not let Cocoa miss on her tlc and phew . . ever tried to feed a piggie who does not want to eat.
Cocoa weight is down but she's still here and every day is a gift I'm having with her. 20180922_005343.webpI've tried everything to allow her to eat her medicines alone. 20180905_071819.webpi feed her next to others . as above .
I've had her on me knee and she does not like that gets restless.
I wake them up and expect them to eat lol. these monkeys go back to sleep.
I've found best way to get Cocoa to eat is simply with her friends
Heidi gets worked up when Cocoa is not their.
