I've got 2 boars that used to like live side by side in different cages, one day they managed to push their ways into each other's cages and they've been together ever since. the original plan was they were both going to be neutered and would have new girlfriends after their little friends died. as I've said they've been together ever since they pushed their way into each other's cages, but lately there's been some scrapping, no major fights, but they run and chase after each other, but not in the playing way. today I've gone into their shed to feed them, check them over and I've noticed that one of them has a couple little cuts under his chin, and it looks like he's been bitten on his nose, I've washed the cut, and he's back with his friend, but they don't seem like they hate each other? I don't know what to do with them? can someone please suggest something/anything that could help me out?

Hello, Welcome to the forum.

How big is the cage they are in? Do they have two of everything, houses, food bowls etc...? Am tagging in @Wiebke for you

they're not in a cage anymore, they have a huge shed which they have the whole floor space to run around, and yes they have 2 of everything :)

Thanks for that. How are they behaving now?

Naughty piggies!
I'd recommend giving them both a bath together, making them smell the same. cleaning out their enclosure completely with piggie safe disinfectant so it smells different to both of them, then re-introducing them again.
If you see more wounds i'd advise to split them. and keep them clean! I didn't know my old boys were scraping until one got an abscess that cost me £200 to cure (another two popped up along the process)
