Slave imagined this happening for real. What a s*itshow (literally)! Too many big egos in one room. Harry would rumble so much he would pass out.

Today Harry found his voice again after Kongo left us. He yelled for his greenies very demanding! I was very pleased to be bossed around. As long as Harry is fine, we dont want another Guinea pig. If we have to I'm thinking about fostering and if that could be something for us (not for my heart, no...). Harry is soon 5,5 years old and we're his third family and to rehome him would be so cruel. Harry spends multiple hours with us humans every day, but ofc - we're not Guinea pigs...

Will you get a cat or a dog or will you be done with pets?

We want a dog and more Guinea pigs in the future. Dog is a time and space question, and what kind. With the pigs I just need to pause when Harry goes to the bridge, because it has been very intense with four toofie-gremlins the last years and I need to breath. But I know it wont take long before I miss having Guinea pigs around me. Maleslave did not like them at first, but now he's in love with these weird rats!

They are kind of addictive. A Labrador should be OK with piggies ❤️ 🐶

Dogwise I've got a chihuahua, japanese spitz and australian kelpie, the kelpie is a herding dog so he tries to herd them by staring at them (or he tried to now he's just accepted that they only move if you nudge them and he's not allowed to do that) but I'd recommend a "sällskapshund" which is the grouping of companion dogs, I'm not sure what they're called in english and if none of those breeds suit you I'd just avoid hunting dogs and herding dogs you have to train them how to treat the dog. However almost any dog breed can work with piggies, especially if they grow up with them and you just make it clear from the start that piggies are not to be touched! ;)

I love that he tries to stare out the pigs! He must be so confused they dont listen at all.
I like "brukshundar" (whats the English word?) but they are quite big and right now we live in a small apartment on 7th floor. In the end I can fall in love with any type of dog. Worked on a "dog kindergarten" in my teens and the only dog I didnt fall for was an Afghan because she was so boring and her humans never brushed her so she looked terrible. She was quite old too, and my feeling was that she did not enjoy being there very much and in combination with the very special Afghan-personality she was a b*tchlady.

According to my translation app brukshundar is a word that means working dogs rather than a specific breed

Yes, and most of the breeds are quite big. I love german Shepherds, labradors, rottweilers but maleslave looks scared everytime I just mention those breeds 😅 he wants a poor little French bulldog.
