xx>>> Yay, sounds good :))
Keep the syringe feeding going - it will pay off, you are keeping Jimmy going so don't lose heart. Is he pooping/weeing ok ?/
When my Harley slowly started to put weight on and started eating for himself after three weeks of him refusing and covered in his own diarrhoea from the meds. 8..., I cried tears of joy and relief - hadn't slept properly for days and took time off work to nurse him. He still gives me the evil eye though...little monkey but he is my extra special boy x)

Hopfully he will keep goin in the right direction, i really didnt think i wasgoin to see him eating again.
I no the feelin, constant worring horrible feeling! And no sleep and being covered in critical care and mushed up nuggets haha :-) x

does he have dry food and hay in his cage? i would just keep feeding the CC as you have been, keep trying to get him to eat proper dry food, you might find he might naturally decide to eat on his own again, but until he is doing properly you'll need to carry on with the CC. I'm now about to start going through the force feeding myself so i can sympathise. x

Oh its horrible *** he just wants to sit and relax, i hate distubin him :-(
But it has to be done. ...........
Is you piggie sick.?

Yes sadly, going to see vet in just over an hour, i'm at work and in such distress, i will be so much calmer when i know what's wrong with him, i just feel helpless and clueless at the moment. He just wants to lay in his cosey too, i can tell he is getting annoyed with being picked up all of the while to be syringe fed water etc. :( poor boy. x

Have you tried tempting him with any favourite veggies, parsley etc. :)
Maybe something different will tickle his taste buds and reboot some interest :)

Ive tried every veg i can think of :-)
Yes I'm still syringe feeding,
He just drank some water from his bottle :-)
Goin to syringe more now, ............

Heya, jimmy still hasnt eating anything since 11 dis mornin :-(
I'm very confused as to why he cant eat? All of the problems in his mouth hav been treated,
I'm still syringe feeding and giving him fibreplex
He did drink from his bottle for the first time in over a week? I'm so confused?

It can take days, weeks or even months before a piggie starts to eat again following dental problems.

Also you say all the problems in his mouth have been treated, but it can be very easy to overlook a small spur that can stop a piggie from eating. How experienced in dental work is your vet?

It really is very early days, and there won't be a quick fix. Also this could be ongoing for the rest of his life, which may mean regular dental work.

Dealing with a dental piggie is never easy.

Yeah, but is it okfrom him to be sleeping alot? When I'm not syringe feeding him he goes into his bed to cuddle up, up wen i have him in my arms feeding him he is very alert.
Maybe he might change when the meds stop?
Meds are stoping tomoro. :-)
Any advice?x
