So, I'd love to hear about everyone's little hoglets and their personalities!

Godfrey is, it seems, an American crested piglet with a ridgeback and an attitude. He likes food, food, relaxing strokes, food and sometimes he likes a proper cuddle. After a few seconds he likes finding an escape, and will dash away. Oh, and he loves food.
At the vet, well, we only had one visit but he squealed his little lungs out, telling us we had to return him home RIGHT NOW.
He's more kissy than his brother, and easier to pick up, even if he's less patient. He'll lick your toes if you're barefoot in the cage, and will lick an offered nose. During cuddles, he may well find a bare spot on your arm to kiss, whereas Duncan will kiss an offered finger, but kissing too much would damage his reputation.

Duncan is, we think, a ridgeback with some aby? He is quite possibly a rare pig, and to us he really is. He dislikes being picked up, he's shyer than Godfrey but appears to be the dominant pig, rumbling at his brother for no reason. Godfrey isn't really bothered though.
Once picked up, he'll settle happily on a lap for quite some time, and at the vet he's quite obedient! He's been twice, and was quite calm both times, though he was very vocal when he had his, ahem, bits checked. But he got some strokes and Critical Care out of it, so all was well. He's a brilliant lap piggy, excellent if you're feeling down and want a cuddle- he has such a sweet face. Look at that adorable little smile!

Chuck is a chocolate brain peg on his back with a little white stripe running down the centre of his forehead so he looks like a Staffordshire bull terrier from the top the only thing that lets him down on his appearance of been looking like a Staffordshire is his ginger stomach which she is very proud of showing off when you want sleeves
His name is chock as in chocolate my iPhones dictation has went daft and is written it wrong
He is a very placid and laid-back pig and he is a whole clit because all he does is eat and eat and eat he even eats in his sleep and he weeks in his sleep as well church at 4 AM wake me up to tell me he's hungry again as I was hungry
He is the only hoglet I have had the chirps although why he has to do it at 4 o'clock in the morning I have no idea it sounds like there is a little bird in my house when he starts up
Silly piggy

Anselmo is a tough old boar who thinks he's better than me, you and everyone else.
He's 6.5 years old, and is black with an orange / brown stripe on his left shoulder, and on his manly bits. He also has a tiny white flick at the front of his crest on his head
He has pea eye in both eyes so looks a bit sad all the time. He currently looks like a tough old bruiser as he has stitches in his cheek and a bald patch where he's been shaved.
He had a few off days but now he's back to his grumpy self. His favourite things are chattering at me when I'm not quick enough with his veg or Metacam, and sleeping underneath his curtain with a SnuggleSafe.
He doesn't like hugs and will 100% shoot a poop out at you when you pick him up. He hates being nebulised, but I secretly think he starts honking on purpose, like at 5.00am on a Monday morning, or midnight on a Saturday night.

Jon Snow is as white as snow (snow that a dog has weed on) and has a quiff at the front of his hair, like he's in a 90's boy band.
He's smaller than my other pigs but that doesn't stop his attitude.
He hates being picked up and attempts to rocket into the air whenever we hold him.
He has a rumbly tum but still wants to eat all of the veg he's not allowed.
His favourite thing is standing up at the bars to demand food, and hide under the VetBed
He is a quick learner and has learned how to climb up steps, and enjoys running away from me when I put him on the bathroom floor.

Podrick Payne is 2 years old and a payne in the ass.
He's big and chunky, black with a brown nose and little white socks. He has very spongy sides that we like to poke.
He hates being out of the cage and turns into a stone, and only settles down after 10 minutes. Put him back in the cage and he's a completely different pig. I've never known a pig as horny as him. He's either asleep, eating or rumbling around. He's got a great set of dance moves.
His favourite things are rumbling around as close to Jon as he can get, standing in random places in the cage or flipping over their houses.
Podrick is very much not a bright spark and has no idea how to climb a step despite being shown many times.

Awwww! 4 o'clock chirps are the best chirps! From his threads I can tell he's an incredibly charismatic piggy, cheeky, but he loves you. Eating and wheeking in his sleep? That's so brilliant:yahoo:how old is he? Does he give good cuddles? I bet he does...

Okay, Anselmo sounds scary! He'd probably wear a leather jacket if he could...
As for Snow, white fur! Sounds a huge pain to keep clean. And...Godfrey is a champion stair-climber. We play a hilarious game where he runs upstairs and ignores me telling him to stop, then I catch up and try to pick him up and he jumps over my hand. He can't even get into his cage, so he just stands and eats hay, looking pleased with himself. It's a brilliant game:td:
Awww, Payne! Duncan rumbles so much too, Godfrey either runs away or ignores it. Although, he had to put up with a bit of attempted mounting. Er:eek:

Peanut - lemon agouti smooth hair - very timid - hates floor time, being handled, humans, anything out of routine. Loves getting one over on Spike, being in charge of the cage, and some types of food.

Spike - black and white aby - very confident - extremely talkative - sometimes likes floor time, being handled and humans, absolutely loves rearranging and scenting a clean cage. Adores most food. Hates that Peanut wont play and explore at floor time despite his running commentry IMG_6629.webp and encouragement.

Ivy is a complete diva. She won't come out for veggies until I personally call her name.. She will cuddle but only with me she won't have any part of being held by my husband or my sister. 20160911_135149.webpDaisy I affectionately call my tiny tornado. For as small as she is she has the biggest personality and the loudest voice.. She is very curious and doesn't really like to cuddle because she would rather be off exploring, although she loves being scratched behind the ears. 20161029_130508.webpWillow is my sweetest pig. She is very easy-going and laid back.. She loves to cuddle and loves blueberries. 20160911_132744.webp
Clover has her Diva moments but she is the cuddliest pig. Especially with her sisters, you will often find her huddled in a house with one of the other girls.

Loving all the brief summaries of people piggies. Especially bosshogs :D

Rummer - ginger American crested. Sometimes a bit bad but she can't help it. It's just the way she was born. Loves life, and other piggies and wheeking loudly. No time for snuggles. She has serious piggy business to attend.
Lupin - Ginger/lilac and white crested with deep ruby eyes. Fat, loner, bit moody. Loves laptime. Absolutely beautiful.
flint - Black and White, Dutch markings. Fat, Hairy, gormless, amazing lips. Scared of being groomed. Bit pathetic really. Devastatingly handsome though.
Aramis - Cream agouti crested, Shy with people. Tries to push his luck with other piggies. But stops when he's told off. Aka not as hard as he thinks he is. pancakes during laptime
Hiro - silver agouti and white - also fat, quiet, firm but fair kind of guy. Likes chin rubs.
Yuki - torti and white. Absolutely hyperactive. Helps himself to food.Loves to give kisses to his hoomin mummy.
Ember - Black, cream and white. Tiny baby, very noisy, cheeky and exploritive. Too cute for words.
Autumn - ginger and fuzzy! Very shy little lady.
Cosmos - Cream and cream agouti crested. Blind as a cavefish. Feisty madam. Pretty little face. Likes having her crest rubbed.

I would put pictures but it would take me forever:D

Archie is A LOT like my boyfriend.
The main differences are, archie LOVES to go outside, he gets very savage if he doesnt get his daily outside time (bf doesnt care about going outside, prefers his computer). I suppose archie is like me in that respect, as I love being outside every day too.
Archie poops loads, and sometimes he likes to have it half hanging out and gets me to pull it out for him. Thank god my bf does not do that.
Archie also likes to barber my hair, another thing that my does not try to do lol.
Other than that, I think they are pretty much the same, they even have a similar "man" smell, and certainly are sleazy .
They have a mutual rivalry over my affections.
When archie was with the cute woman vet, he rumbled at her and jiggled her breasts. He pooped on and bit the man vet.
Archie likes to be the man of the vicinity. As long as you know your place, then hes fine.

morning cuddle on me.

I have 2 piggies!

Umi is 3 months old, long haired, and tan, white, and brown fur. He enjoys being held, but not much on petting. He loves yellow bell peppers and his favorite toy is a stuffed Santa Claus!

Kyper is 8 months, short haired, and tan with a white mark above his nose. He likes to hide in his house (I just got him so it's normal) and he loves chewing sticks!

Bramble...Bramble, my texel, is that crazy old lady at the end of everyones road that comes running out her house, walking stick in the air, telling you to get lost if you get too close (please tell me I'm not the only one with 'that' neighbour!?) lol although she loves a nice nose scratch from the safety of her cage. Woe betide anyone who comes bearing a hairbrush or nail clippers, you will end up bleeding.
While she likes her own space, she adores her sister Blackberry who is actually the boss piggy.
Blackberry is a peruvian, she only likes fusses on the top of her head, unless youre very careful to only stroke her hair the way its growing...which isnt always easy to figure out. She used to be similarly cranky, but a recent illness has given us a chance to bond better than I thought was possible, so she has become quite calm, unless you catch her on one of her seasons. Here they are in their usual position, together :)

Shelly is the loveliest, sweetest little potato pig you could ever wish to meet, shes not keen on being stroked but she will sit next to you and chill out for hours, and has developed the habit of drowning out the wheeks of the other 3, just in case she gets forgotten at veg time. I have never known such a loud noise to come out of someone so small! She lives next to my crested gecko Indiana, who she regularly chats to, although as intregued as he is by a talking potato, hasnt spoken back yet! She also pulls the most hilarious faces while eating.

Leonard, is Leonard. A big squishy docile lump of piggy. You can scratch him anywhere and he lays flat out to enjoy it, nudging your hand if you stop. He comes running over as soon as you call him, although youd better be calling him for a fuss or food or he will strop and go back into his pigloo, which he is adamant is actually a boat.

Comet is an amazingly laidback little pig. He's skittish but friendly, loves to nibble on everything at least once. And a snuggler! He's a curious wee soul too. And hay makes him really really happy. He likes to try and snuggle up next to Blitzen, then underneath Blitzen, then when that doesn't work, on top of Blitzen.

Blitzen, on the other hand, is a cheeky menace. I had carrot flung at me last night, and apple this morning. He really doesn't appreciate being groomed!

Right now I've just given them some fresh hay and Comet's squeaking happily. Blitzen's trying to tip the food bowl over instead.

Oh wow, this is the cutest thread EVER! It really proves how people are wrong, and piggies have such amazing personalities. Also the pigtures are too cute for words. Some of the pigs remind me of my own, I have the best of both worlds- one relaxed, well-behaved, calm Duncan, and a mischievous, escape artist, curious Godfrey:love:

This is an amazing thread!

Violet is my old lady. She is nicknamed Violent Violet or Pocket Rocket, gives you an idea of her feisty behaviour. She's beaten up all piggies I've ever tried to bond her with- except Connie who she adored but who died earlier this year and Poppy who she finally accepted after Connie's departure to the Bridge. She's a pretty piggie, tortoishell and white with an entirely black face which makes taking pics of her so difficult. She's the leader of the Wheekers' Chorus and is dead easy to pick up, dead easy to handle, cuddle, medicate, check over. But don't mention nail clipping. She turns into a gnashing monster, shrieking and biting and pulling her feet away.
Poppy is Violet's cage mate and the most adorable little pudding pig. She's only a youngster but very quiet, calm and unchallenging. She is also tortoishell and white but with more white than Violet. They look like they could have been mum and daughter but they aren't related. She has an adorable little white stripe on her head, and a white middle which emphasises her pudgy tummy. She's such a good little soul, with a very loud wheek for a small lady. She managed to win Violet over, so she must have a very sweet nature indeed.

Mollie and Mabel are my ASBO twins.

Mollie is a HUGE grey and white aby/teddy cross. She has the face of an angel, but that's where it ends. She's the only piggy I've ever come across with a tendency to bite first and ask later - I'm so grateful to Wiebke's thread about biting as she was a real monster at first. She's my longest, tallest, biggest, heaviest piggy with the biggest personality. She barges around like a bull in a china shop, usually with a mouth full of food, dropping bits of half chewed veg in her wake. If she decides not to bite you may be given a sneaky and painful kick, instead. She famously beat up 5 neutered boars in one afternoon, then a further 2 neutered boars and 2 sows a week later. She also had a full on fight with my feisty Violet when i tried to bond them once. Never again!
Mollie lives with Mabel a cute little crested piggy who came to us as a baby and who has sadly learned most of her adult behaviour from Mollie. Mabel doesn't bite, but has followed Mollie's lead as a destroyer of cage wares, rearranging and trashing their clean cage as fast as possible. A very greedy but rather endearing little soul.

Phew

Wow, what a good looking bunch of piggies you have there @zombieprincess. And as for my ASBO twins, they are so full of personality that they have been terrorising my son who's been looking after them this weekend - charging down the cage and throwing themselves at the grids to make sure he fed them! Think he's a bit traumatised!

AWW! Best thread ever! @VickiA your ASBOs sound terrifying! Feeding them must be:
*puts on protective gear; pads, helmet, thick gloves*
*opens door, dashes inside*
*intense shrieks*
*chucks down food*
*runs away, lies down with a glass of water*

Eddi - sweet, laid back, knows he is amazing, constantly rumble strutting, loves blueberries.
Lucy - calm, loves cuddles, picky about food, large, loves fleecy beds, loves Eddi.
Ruby - total delinquent, bites everyone except DD1, loves cuddles (but only with DD1), the boss.
Oreo - bouncy, wild, loud, pretender to the throne, loves Eddi.

:lol!::lol!:
I forgot to mention to my son that when you go to remove the veg bowl Mollie will guard it by standing with her front paws on the rim, so that as you go to lift it out you risk lifting her out of the cage, too. For me, that's no issue, but for my son I guess it was a bit intimidating. :lol!::ban:

My two are tortoiseshell sisters and roughly about three months old. I have had them just over two months.

Coco is mostly black with a white stripe over her shoulders and a bit of brown on her lower back. She is very naughty and full of energy, you can guarantee if there is mischief to be had she is having it and is the instigator. She has a glint in her eyes that is just pure NAUGHTY. Lap time with her is just a nightmare of trying to keep up with her "new game" of musical (without the music) snuggle sacks where she must run a hundred mile an hour in and out of three sacks, I get sick of this game waaaay before she does. She is the most likely to giv me the stink eye. She is strangely the more timid of the two and her favourite food is coriander.

Patchy is...patchy. She has a unusual face, she has a white stripe over her nose that comes up oks like bushy eyebrows. One side of her face is ginger and the other side is black so depending which side she is facing she looks like a different guinea pigs. She is the braver of the two and the one most likely to lick and want petting or to just chill out. Patchy loves Coco but does not love her during lap time, patchy prefers lap time on her own and can get real cranky when Coco invades her lap time space. She is the grumpier of the two. Patchy really LOOOOOOOVES her pellets so can not be fed too much or she will gorge herself silly but will let me know when she is ready for them which is exactly half an hour after veggies. her nick name is "pellet pig".

A rare lap time moment with them both together although 10 mins later patchy did have a hissy fit. Coco absolutely hates the camera and it really spooks her so I have more of patchy than her.
