Does Anyone Do Fleece Liners Made To Measure?

My husband doesn't want me to get any more guinea pigs. So they are interacting through the bars to keep them safe. Also I am scared incase I get more and they fall out and I end up with 4 single piggies. Also I feel they are too old to be neutered as I don't know their true ages. (Got them off gumtree, unwanted pets) it was kind of Fudges fault Alby turned nasty as Fudge never gave him peace (humping) I sometimes wonder if Fudge is going through a hormonal stage. (Was told they were 2 1/2) they would now be 3 but I feel Alby may be older and fudge possibly younger.

Ahh yeah! Well at least they can see each other through the bars if they get lonely! Yeah maybe Alby just got really annoyed with him and thought enough is enough! God I always see unwanted pets on gumtree breaks your heart when you see singles too. I always wanna take one, I have a single girl but I know that if they didnt get on I dont have the room for two cages! Like you really.
 
We got the lime! Arrived last week.

The hay so far sweeps off easy and no drips when we washed it.
Even survived gizmo when he thought he'd test it out with a good nip and tug.

:yikes: That lime is the exact colour of our walls! Ohhh..its nice! I'm EVEN MORE EXCITED NOW! :yahoo:
Oh thank god for that, Amber likes to bite everything... or attempt to.
 
@A&T have your liners arrived yet? I am so excited. waiting like a kid at Christmas. Lol.

I hope they come today! They should do! Or maybe tomorrow?! Amber needs a clean out but I don't wanna clean her out untill they come, seems silly to clean her out to have to clean her out again in potentially a day!
 
Mine just arrived. I have put them in the wash. So the fleece wicks better. Yours should be arriving soon then too.

Ohhh! I'm so jealous! I think ours were posted the same day! So maybe mine will come today too! I hope so anyway :(!
You'll have to take a photo once they're dry and everything!
 
I just received three new 2 X 5 cage liners from Ziggy yesterday. Mine are in the pale blue with white spots. They cost £70. They took about four days to arrive. She sent them via Hermes courier, so I was lucky to get them at all! I could have ordered 2 in 3 X 5 size, but didn't think that that size would fit in my washing machine! I will have a look at Hammockyhammocks.co.uk, just to see what they are like.

did you get a care sheet in yours? I don't get one in mine.
What temperature should I was them on? Like first time round? And what should i put in with them? I didnt manage to get any of that stuff, I only have non bio tabs and fabric softener at the moment, what do you guys recommend?

How exciting. What colours did you choose?
I have no experience with fleece liners. But it should need changing twice a week, regardless it is still fleece and the urine will build up. I expect the fabric softener would bring back the water Barrier, so don't wash it with that. Non bio is the best to use.

I got multi coloured squares and lime :)!
Yeah I have fleece already home made ones, and she's in her run mostly so I don't change it as often because it doesn't get as bad as quickly as if she was in there 24/7.
Thank you! Yeah I thought the fabric softener would do that, someone said earlier I think. Thanks Rachel!

Just bio tabs, hun x
30 degrees.
I put it ont he daily synthetic wash :)

Really? would you like me to mention it to her?

Naaa thats alright they probably just forgot :)! No worries I have you guys to help me Hahahaha. You can tell her if you want just to let her know in case someone doesn't have anyone to ask and haven't got a leaflet but I'm not worried :)!

I will do just as you said, incase anyone doesn't have access to this information, even though she'd say to them anyway haha she probably just forgot, she's not been too good lately tbh, bless her :(

Hehe. WOOP! Gunna put them in the wash now! :) how long do they take to dry roughly? I wanted to change her today.

Depends if you have heating on or not.... if you want one today, maybe put it in the tumble dryer on low.
Then leave the other to dry... mine take about a day or two depends on heat of house tbh and mines freezing and damp :/
Think I mentioned before, an extra spin always helps :D

My fleece is virtually dry instantly when I take it out the drum after no tumble dry.
But the liners, maybe you should put it on spin after washing?
 
I don't have a tumble dryer. Mum said she'll put radiators on and put them on the radiators when they come out. :)

The worst ones to dry are the inserts bought with strawberry igloos. Little devils. They took about 24 hours to dry on the radiator.

I never got a care sheet either. Lol. Just washed mine. I haven't put them in cage yet though. As I am wondering about putting my 2 together again. Lol

I'll be doing it tomorrow hopefully if they're dry! Been on the rad all day!
Ooo you could try?! No harm in trying I guess?
 
30 - 40 is what my care sheet says.
No fabric softener.

Have you get all liners you ordered cause our sheet was folded in one of the liners.

Ps. Dry within the day in our place so you might be able to change her tonight. If not then tomorrow morning at the least :)

Yeah I got them all, shook them out and everything to see if it was hiding somewhere, nothing. It doesn't matter to much! I knew someone on here would know the answer to my questions haha.
Well they've been on the rad all day so hopefully I can change her in the morning, I'd do it now.. because I think they're dry, but I'm too lazy haha.
