.Wow, she’s suddenly looking like a young lady and no longer a baby.
Shes getting so big!![]()
Aw she got so big so fast! I love it when they suddenly arent a baby anymore, they are growing up! We saw this recently with our Tallulah, one of the kids in our family who hadnt seen her for a month said, rather unflatteringly, " Uh, why did Tallulah get fat?" Which is a bit rude but she's got some adult curves! Also looking at pics of @Merab's Slave 's boy Micah, he was a little stripe of fluff and now he's a proper boar.
One day you notice they just aren't babies anymore they are properly teenage and can confidently hold their own with the big pigs![]()
And none of them ever change in the same way either. Blitzen went from having "wavy fur" to "oh lord that's a lot of fur where did that come from" and it really grew right out (yay, shelties), and Comet went from this little thing trying to get his nose into everything to this massive lump trying to get his nose into everything and being able to climb over half the sofa to do it
I'm loving that Dryw has learned to pancake out like Hedydd though. If ever there was an example of how babies learn from the adult pigs, she's it!
Its very true, our Tallulah had no clue how to be a guinea pig really (we got her at 9 or 10 weeks old, she left her mum and auntie at 4 weeks old and her sister was adopted at 8 weeks old) until she married big handsome Ollie pigwig from @pig in the city , she's a very lucky girl to have such a gorgeous laid back husboar who has taught her lots of important piggy things and doesnt mind when she still gets it a bit wrong!I so loved watching little Llelo copying Dylan and practising just the sexact hip swing when sashaying past a sow cage - and then popcorning off thrilled with achievement! Watching the babies grow up in the presence of adults really opens your eyes as to what a crucial development phase in their lives all those poor shop piggies miss out on...![]()

How is Hedydd today?
