Eddie & Elvis
Adult Guinea Pig
Hi again, another update:
Last night when I was cleaning the cage I noticed some slightly smaller poos and I thought I was just being paranoid but it's the same this morning. They're not tiny but smaller enough for me to notice.
I weighed him this morning to check his weight hasn't gone down and it's fine. It's 1032g today (was 1020g yesterday) so that's the heaviest he's been since the problems started.
His behaviour is the same, he still just as interested in hay- in fact he spent most of the morning with his face in the hay pile- and yet his poos are smaller.
I'll keep a close eye on him and monitor for changes in behaviour. Is there anything else I should do or is monitoring enough for now? I'm trying not to worry but it's hard

He had up and down poos after he came home from the vets which was to be expected after anesthetic, gut stasis and him being on antibiotics but it's been 2 weeks since the antibiotics were stopped and at least 3 since his gut stasis and anesthetic. How long did your lot have up and down poos for after anesthetic alpacasqueak?
