If you've seen my thread in piggy chat then you'll already know what he looks like, but I decided to get him out for a little photoshoot! I got him yesterday and he will be my last Milhaven piggy for quite some time (20 piggies is a nice round number to be going on with for now I think! :x) - he definitely won't be the last ever!

He's (obviously) a little PEW Peru(X?) - my first PEW ever and I think he's a gorgeous little man. The poor little lad hadn't had the best start to life before being taken in by Joanne. He spent his first night at the vets with a very serious case of mites and scurvy and was not a well little man at all. In Joanne's care he's bloomed and was finally well enough for his operation 5 weeks ago. He's now about 8 months old, and a lovely, healthy little man! He's small (ish - 905g) but perfectly formed and surprisngly strong and chunky - he feels heavier than he is!

This is how he looked not long after getting to Joanne, not nice to see him like that knowing him now, but at the same time great to know that he's not in that state anymore and a vey happy pig:

Milhaven welcomes a lovely young boy, Einstein, who is only around 4 months old. Little Einstein has the craziest hair we have ever seen! Sadly, his first night will be spent in in our Vets hospital, due to him being so ill. This poor little chap came to us with the worst case of Scurvey and mites we (and the vet) had ever encountered. He is very underweight and has possible impaired vision. Einstein is very ill and we have our fingers crossed that he will pull through.
He should grow a little more yet, but even if he doesn't he's pig enough to cope with his mission, should he choose to accept it...

On Sunday (with any luck) he will be moving into the shed with my 9 strong herd, 4 strong creche and Flossie and Panda (who will be sectioned off at first as Flossie is extremely nervous) to eventually make a 16 strong herd! He's a very lucky boar! x)

Here he is!

Stunning x) Love his name!

Totally the hairdo for that name!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Mr. Amazing will prove to be the master of the theory of relations!

Thank you!

I can't take credit for the name - that's Joanne's choice! I always said if I got a male for my herd he would be called Walter (from Fringe - who is also a 'mad scientist') but I think Einstein is a fantastic name! He's keeping it! :(|)

Oh Fabulous! I'm so glad he's keeping the name, there was never any other we even looked at! It was the first thing that sprang to mind when I saw him! :))

Einstein was a very poorly little chap who we thought might not make it, but of course I gave him a chance to prove everyone wrong! ;) He has grown into a very handsome and strong boy whom I am very proud of. I'm thrilled that he finally has his happy ever after, he deserves it. :)

Enjoy him and please keep us updated!

Awww, i kept a beady eye on your other thread to see him as soon as i could! :))

He is a gorgeous boy, thanks for the update! Oh, and how lucky is he to have such a large herd of girlies! Looking forward to how he gets on! Is the shed all done? (I'll look out for your other thread!)

Oh he is totally gorgeous. And he looks so much healthier! well doen to all those involved in his car :) I love his hair and his name totally suits him:))

Stunning handsome boy, and he has such a fabulous name ^)

What a handsome lad, and his name is just perfect!

He may of had a sad start in life, but hes going to have a very happy one there with you :)

It really is a great name and he is fantastic!

He did the cutest most heartwarming thing today! I had him out to meet my auntie this evening and he was on a fleece blanket. After trying to snuggle in it and hide he gave up, made himself comfy and led down on me with a cute little chicken leg sticking out. I did try and take some pics, but they turned out rubbish and grainy! But I was just so amazed that he felt safe enough to lie down on me so soon! I don't think any of my other piggies would, or if they did it would take longer than I normally hold them (I tend to get peed on a lot!)...

Aww, I'm just chuffed to bits that he did that so soon and let me stroke him when he was led down. x)

My mum and dad managed to get me some vinyl flooring, foam underlay and locks for the shed so with any luck we can lay it tomorrow evening when they're back from work and on Sunday they can go in first thing and I'll have all day to supervise them! Can't wait!

He's a stunner, I bet the girls will be head over heels. x) drool x) drool
